Retrieving 'lost / corrupted' Cardbox Master Profile passwords

I have just changed my master-profile passwords on two databases to be the same for both. One does not now work.

On opening my databases one works fine, the second tells me that what I am entering is incorrect. I presume that I must have mistyped my 'new' password (twice) while changing it for the second database. How can I find out what I made the second password or revert to the old password (from backups?)

Hi Chris
Yes, the best thing would be to restore a backup - assuming you've not made any changes to the data in the meantime.
Take care

Perhaps you inadvertently had CAPS Lock on when entering the password?

There's a section called "Recovering from a lost master password" in the knowledge base: cardbox.com > support > knowledge base.
