In June 2005 Microsoft modified Windows to make it impossible to open a help file across the network: by now, most of your Windows systems will have received this modification through Windows Update and you will be receiving errors if you press F1 or click on a Help button within Cardbox. Microsoft do give instructions for modifying the Windows Registry at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896054/ and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892675/ but these are quite complex and you need to be an administrator to follow them.
We have worked round this problem in Build 4201 of Cardbox 3.0 and you will once more have access to help files even on a modified Windows system. If you are running a multi-user Cardbox installation where everyone uses a single copy of Cardbox located on a central file server, then we strongly recommend that you upgrade to Build 4201.
Build 4201 also corrects a few minor bugs. You can find details of all the changes at http://www.cardbox.com/support/clientHistory.htm.
To upgrade to Build 4201 of Cardbox 3.0, go to http://www.cardbox.com/downloading/updates.htm and follow the instructions.
